This past weekend, FundingFactory participant Jamall Filate from Little Rock, AR was featured on his local news segment, “Everyone has a Story.”
Jamall and his wife loves bargain hunting to find that special one-of-a-kind deal. Jamall, a new grandfather, knows it’s time to start thinking about the future. Jamall doesn’t just like to find good deals for himself; he’s all about helping others.
“I deliver a lot of toner to some businesses here locally, and I noticed a lot of that was being thrown away,” says Jamall.
Over the past year, Jamall has shipped hundreds of laser cartridges to FundingFactory. So far, he’s raised about $1,700 for his daughter’s school. He hopes one day to maybe even start his own recycling business, an investment for his newest addition.
Jamall says, “Maybe my little bit of help might do something for her in the future.”
