FundingFactory participants did some really cool stuff for America Recycles Day!

Check out Burlington High School! This FundingFactory superstar had the honor of a visit from American Idol Winner Scotty McCreery on 11/14/11. He was celebrating the school’s efforts with Toys-4-Tots. While he was at the school’s radio station 89.1 WBSD, he met Leaf and helped out with recycling efforts by recording a Station ID to help promote America Recycles Day. Listen to it here.

Scott is holding a photo of Leaf, the FundingFactory mascot, to show his pride for the school’s recycling efforts! Burlington High School has a lot to be proud of, too. Since 200, this Wisconsin school has raised over $13,000 and kept 21,175 lbs of waste out of landfills with FundingFactory! Way to go!
